What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that the sites you visit send to your terminal, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on your next visit. How are cookies distinguished?
- Session, are cookies that are not stored permanently on your computer and are deleted when the browser is closed, they are strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers necessary to allow a safe and efficient exploration of the site avoiding the use of other techniques IT systems potentially prejudicial to the privacy of your browsing.
- Persistent cookies are stored on the computer's hard drive until they expire or are canceled by you. How to disable them?
